Wood Sculptures
Terradon has many fascinating, unusual teak & fossil (petrified ) wood Sculptures and creations available to purchase in our showroom, based in Farnham. Ranging from table top displays to giant wood sculptures.
Terradon hand select fascinating shapes and sizes of wood-from desk top to grand entrance halls. We ensure all pieces have been ethically and responsibly sourced. Next the wood is taken to our workshop in Frensham, Surrey to be cleaned & stained if required and encrusted with our authentic fossils and minerals creating a breath taking and truly bespoke fossil wood sculpture. The beauty with our sculptures is that they are the ultimate in tailor design. Each order is bespoke, for example to colour match an existing scheme, to incorporate more of a particular type of fossil or to fit a certain dimension. Each fossil wood sculpture comes with a certificate of authenticity and a Terradon original plaque.
Each sculpture has the option to be beautifully adorned with a range of stunning fossils-we encourage our clients to personally visit our showroom to choose from our vast selection for a truly bespoke finish. The wood can be varnished to tone in with existing decor.
Ammonite Fossils & Framed Pictures
Framed and mounted in Surrey, UK to our design using our hand selected finest quality fossils. Available in a variety of measurements, on carefully selected mounts to enhance the fossils beautiful natural colour. Ammonites date back to around 120 million years old. These exceptional pictures would be perfectly suited to be displayed both in the office and at home.
Ammonites are shelled cephalopod molluscs that lived throughout the world’s oceans during the Mesozoic (Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods). Ammonite shells (apart from in the heteromorphs) all follow a similar basic design, which is that of an expanding cone, spiraling around a center point. Fossil Seabed Collection
Originating from Asia and dating back 40 million years, this fabulous range is extremely versatile and will compliment both home and office in either contemporary or antique settings. The seabed fossil range includes beautiful yet functional pieces such as book ends, pestle and mortar, giant vases, stylish candle holders and paperweights containing incredible patterns and markings of the seabeds 40 millions of years ago.
Orthoceras Fossil Collection
These truly awesome examples of early history go back at least a staggering 360 million years and show fantastic examples of early marine molluscs. These free swimming nautiloids were prolific in the early Ordovian period and lived later in the Palaeozoic period. Terradons Orthoceras collection is diverse including the finest Framed examples, large Sculptures, bookends and bespoke designs
Fossil Fish Framed Pictures
Dating back an astonishing 40-80 million years. Each piece is carefully hand selected by ourselves to ensure the finest quality and example of a fossil fish that we can provide. Limestone Collection
These beautifully handcrafted limestone items have incredible colouration and unique patterns. They contain brachiopods which are ancient seabed fossils, dating back an astonishing 60 million years. Individually handmade, this amazing collection would be at home in a contemporary setting or complementing antiques and rustic surrounds alike. Terradons Limestone Collection includes giant vases, tables, pestle and mortar, paperweights and bespoke items.
